Train Your Mind: Long Lasting, Effective, Free Self Care

Hold Your Mind Like You Would Something This Fragile & Dependent

Is self care becoming an uninspired chore?

Have you forgotten why you do it or why you were interested in the first place?

For those of us who have practiced for awhile, some of us have grown out of the #basic mani/pedi/coffee routine and realized self care goes far deeper than something you can buy. Self care is anything that centers you, replenishes your energy, mood, and ability to help others.

One technique that's really simple is to monitor your thoughts and one way to do that is through repeating a positive mantra. A mantra is essentially a sentence or even a word that you focus on when you remember. When repeated often enough it has significant power to change your subconscious, your actions, and eventually your life.

So today I would like to introduce you to some mantras you can repeat or just meditate on throughout the day to either improve your mood or heal a part of you that may be hurting.

Due to the power of mantras, it is recommended you pick 1-5 of them that stand out to you and repeat them and focus on them for a month, then move on to another group of mantras for the following month.

I love myself.

I forgive myself.

I am graceful.

I reserve my best for myself.

I show appreciation to those around me.

I am grateful.

I only pursue things that have my highest intentions in mind.

The universe aligns itself for me, for my benefit.

I deserve love.

It’s ok for me to have standards and boundaries inside of my relationships.

I am beautiful inside and out.

I would rather spend time with myself than with people who don’t appreciate me.

I take deep breaths when I’m frustrated.

I am peaceful.

People enjoy my company.

I did more than enough today and I'm proud of myself.

My resources are my own, I use them wisely and am grateful for them.

It is impossible for someone to be perfect. I am not perfect. I love my imperfections.

I am in my power.

My life is worthwhile.

I have worth.

I consider myself first in all situations.

I am doing well.

I am performing above expectations.

I only compare myself to me.

I improve everyday.

I attract lucrative opportunities.

I naturally attract what the universe wants for me.

I am free to say no.

I feel completely free in my skin.
